“I am a nurse advisor for patients with Parkinson’s Disease and their carers and I had a patient who wanted to remain independent at home but had weakness in her hands and was unable to manage opening glass ampoules alone. I gave her an aluminum Snap It device and it enabled her to open the ampoule herself! She was really pleased to be able to manage it herself without requiring community nurses to do it for her.

I also have another patient who told me his aluminium Snap It device is “worth more than money to me”!! He is a carer for his wife and had been experiencing problems opening the 5ml glass ampoules himself. He was led to believe there was no other option but I ordered a Snap it device for him. He is really happy with it and says he can manage setting up the infusions with no problems.”
