Qlicksmart Flask - Product Specifications
The Qlicksmart Flask scalpel blade remover is designed for single-handed operation and comprises two components - Flask and Bracket.

Set up Instructions
| • | The universal mounting bracket is fixed to a wall, bench or trolley at each clean-up site or point of use through a strong, adhesive, double-sided tape is pre-fixed to the rear of the bracket. Additional mounting screws are required should they be required. |
| • | The Flask unit is then supplied into the bracket |
| • | To replace or remove the Flask, simply slide out the old Flask and slide in the replacement. |
Blade Removal
| • | The loaded blade and handle is rested on a 'landing pad' at the front of the Flask and inserted until a pronounced 'click' is heard. During this process, the counter is advanced one unit. |
| • | The handle is withdrawn with the blade having been removed. |

Disposal
| • | When full, each Flask unit is disposed of as medical waste. |
Handle Compatibility
The Qlicksmart Flask has been tested and is suitable for use with blades* using the commonly used handles.
| • | All commonly used handles: #3, #3L, #4, #4L, #5, #7, #9, Lawton Long Handle**. |
| • | All commonly used blades: #10, #10A, #11, #12, #13, etc. up to and including #25A, #27 and #36. |
The Qlicksmart Flask can NOT be used with the following handles:
§ Baron handle
§ Beaver handle
§ Disposable handles
Other brands of handles are constantly being tested. Qlicksmart would be happy to test any scalpel handles you use - for more information please contact Qlicksmart or your nearest distributor.
* Qlicksmart Flask functionality is limited by the length of blade. Maximum blade length tested is #36.
** Some brands of handles may not work well with the Qlicksmart Flask due to the shape and slope of the handle tang.
