Freedom of Choice - Staff Safety

STAFF SAFETY is a prerequisite for PATIENT SAFETY

Don't be forced to use Safety Scalpels if you don't think they're the best option.

There is a research that shows a safety scalpel is not as safe as Qlicksmart scalpel blade removers with a passing tray. With safety scalpels, nurses are in danger if the surgeons forget to retract the sharp blade, and vice versa.

It is worse for the non-retractable safety scalpel, as the danger remains present until the disposable scalpel is safely disposed of.
